Already during the "golden twenties", the spa hotel Viktoria was a popular location for spending a few relaxing days. Spa patients particularly liked its dance matinees as well as its offerings of coffee and cakes.

The marvelous view of the Scharmützelsee and the “Viktoria-Luise Park” was particularly impressive from the balconies on the upper floor as well as from the restaurant and the garden terrace – both for the day tripper as well as the overnight guest.

After the war, the building was used as a spa resort by soviet troops until 1992.

1999 the Residenz Victoria am See with 28 apartments opened in the same location.
